Downtown Sun Prairie Celebrates Small Business Saturday on November 29
Free Shopping Passport, Tote Bag Giveaway, Local Prizes & Family Activities Planned
SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Downtown Sun Prairie invites the community to celebrate Small Business Saturday on Saturday, November 29, from 10 am to 4 pm with a full day of holiday shopping, family-friendly activities, and festive traditions that highlight the power of supporting local businesses.
This year’s event features the return of the popular Downtown Shopping Passport, encouraging visitors to explore shops, boutiques, restaurants, and services across the downtown district. Shoppers can pick up a passport at any participating business or at Faded Roots Boutique, where the first 100 guests will receive a free Shop Local canvas tote along with their passport.
Visitors who collect a hole punch at each participating business and return their completed passport by 4 pm will be entered for a chance to win one of five themed gift baskets, each valued at $150, from the following local businesses:
- Beans N Cream Coffeehouse
- Carpe Diem Boutique
- Dongzhu Pottery Studio
- Forever Yours Jewelr
- Ruth & Honey Salon and Boutique
“Small Business Saturday is more than a shopping day — it’s a celebration of the power of local,” said Mary D’Amico, Downtown Sun Prairie BID Manager. “For every dollar spent at a small business, an estimated 48 cents stays in the community, supporting local jobs, local families, and the vibrancy of our downtown. When people choose to shop small, they’re helping build the kind of community they want to live in.”
In addition to holiday shopping, families can enjoy seasonal activities throughout the day, including:
