College Football Postseason Returns to Sun Prairie with the 4th Annual “Culver’s Isthmus Bowl” on November 23rd, 2024
UW-Stout (6-4) vs. Wheaton College (8-2)
SUN PRAIRIE, WIS. (November 19th, 2024) – The excitement of the college football postseason returns to Sun Prairie on November 23rd with the fourth annual Culver’s Isthmus Bowl featuring the University of Wisconsin-Stout (6-4) vs. #20 Wheaton College (8-2). Kickoff is at 2:05 PM CST. Tickets are on sale now at www.isthmusbowl.com. Ticket price is $15. Children under 5 are free.
“The Culver’s Isthmus Bowl was created to give these young athletes a chance to experience the excitement of a postseason game,” said Mike Shaw, Founder and Bowl Game Director. “Our fourth year promises a great atmosphere with our renewed partner, the Sun Prairie Area School District.”
“We are thrilled to participate in the Culver’s Isthmus Bowl again this season against the CCIW. Every year of the event has been a success in every aspect imaginable. We are excited for a new team to participate in the bowl game this year.” said WIAC Commissioner Danielle Harris.
“The Isthmus Bowl continues to exceed my expectations and I know it was a great experience for the student-athletes of Wheaton College, our third league member to participate in the event. The CCIW looks forward to this year's game and a long-term relationship with Bowl Game and the Sun Prairie community,” said Maureen A. Harty, Executive Director, College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.
“College football fandom is huge in our community,” remarked Jamie Patrick, Vice President of Madison Area Sports Commission (MASC). “We are especially excited we can show young football players in Dane County that there are pathways to college sports that are fun and meaningful.”

We believe it's an exceptional opportunity to showcase our facility and provide the space and place for talented athletes to compete at the culmination of their season,” said Bradford Saron, Superintendent of Sun Prairie Area Schools.
This year’s Isthmus Bowl will include an invite-only banquet at Sun Prairie West High School the night before the game to give both teams the chance to have an evening of sportsmanship before the competition. For ticketing and game information, visit isthmusbowl.com.
