City of Sun Prairie Embraces Winter with Annual Frozen Fest Series

The City of Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation, and Forestry (SPPRF) Department is excited to welcome back Frozen Fest for its fourth consecutive year, presented by the Bank of Sun Prairie. Frozen Fest fun kicks off on Wednesday, January 29, and will end on Sunday, February 2 with the Groundhog Prognostication.

Introduced in 2022, this winter series has quickly become a highly anticipated community tradition, offering a frozen, fun-filled lineup of seasonal activities that everyone can enjoy. Over these action-packed five days, attendees can enjoy a wide variety of events ranging from an ice carving demonstration to a sled dog demonstration. With something exciting for everyone, this is an event not to be missed!

Events to highlight that require registration include the Puzzle Contest, Hibernation Hustle, the Cardboard Sled Classic, the Pancake Toss Breakfast, and the Groundhog Open. To review details for those events and sign up, please visit www.cityofsunprairie.com/FrozenFest

It is important to note that all activities are weather dependent due to them being held outdoors in the winter season. Participants requiring registration will receive email notifications regarding any updates or changes.
