SCORE - Strategic Planning that Works
The purpose of planning is not to create plans but to create results. There are essential steps in the strategic planning process that can make this a reality for your organization. This perspective, creating results, is the intent of this workshop presented by two experienced SCORE mentors: Michael George and Gene Kroupa. If your organization needs guidance to affirm major directions or to concentrate resources effectively in order to benefit stakeholders, engage volunteers, and expand your impact, then this workshop is for you.
Gene Kroupa owned a profitable national marketing research company for 30 years. Gene has served on numerous United Way of Dane County committees, as well as on the Vision Council and Collaborations Building Team. He is a director of the Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin where he spearheaded efforts that expanded statewide membership by 80% in two years.
Michael George has been involved with nonprofits for over 40 years. He has served as a board member, officer, volunteer, consultant, and executive staff member. In addition to his work in Wisconsin, Mr. George has served as a consultant to associations in 18 other states, focusing on strategic planning, development, fundraising, governance, and leadership development.
