Sun Prairie Resident Arrested for Child Pornography
Sun Prairie, WI - On Monday, March 2, 2026, the Sun Prairie Police Department executed a
search warrant at a residence in the 2900 block of Blue Aster Boulevard in the City of Sun
Prairie as part of an ongoing child pornography investigation.
In November 2025, the Sun Prairie Police Department received information that Timothy
Bogosh, 46, of Sun Prairie, had uploaded suspected child pornography to a social media
platform. Further investigation identified a second incident of child pornography being
uploaded in 2021.
Investigators linked the uploaded material to Bogosh's residence and obtained a search
warrant. During the execution of that warrant, investigators located a significant amount of
child pornography in both image and video form on electronic devices. Drugs and drug
paraphernalia were also discovered on the premises. Bogosh was taken into custody without
incident during the search and was subsequently transported to the Dane County Jail, where he
was booked on charges of possession of child pornography.
Items recovered during the execution of the search warrant are being actively evaluated.
Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
The Sun Prairie Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the Wisconsin Division
of Criminal Investigation (DCI). The search warrant was served by the Special Response Team,
which includes members from the Sun Prairie Police Department, the Fitchburg Police
Department, and the Middleton Police Department.
The Sun Prairie Police Department remains committed to the protection of children and the
aggressive investigation of crimes against minors. Anyone with information related to this
investigation is encouraged to contact the Sun Prairie Police Department at (608) 837-7336.
