I am a local historian for the Sun Prairie area and Dane County. I research people, businesses and events over the past 200 years . I give presentations about all aspects of community history for all age groups from 1st grade to seniors. Special topics include downtown history tours, neighborhood history tours, and Georgia O'Keeffe to Jimmy the Groundhog.
As an amateur naturalist I give tours of local woodland areas and prairie environments, such as, the prairie at the Sun Prairie Public Library and Patrick Marsh Conservancy.
I am a representative of the 5th generation of the Chase Family in Sun Prairie. I was mayor of Sun Prairie for six years. I have worked in over five different business environments in Sun Prairie.
