About Us

Explore Children’s Museum’s mission is to provide meaningful opportunities, inspire participation in purposeful play, and promote lifelong learning. Our purpose is to create a community space of meaningful content that inspires creativity, exploration, engagement, shared learning, collaboration, communication, critical thinking skills and fun for children between birth and 9 years old and their caregivers. We also strive to create an educational institution where individuals take an active role in the learning environment, develop an understanding of diverse environments, and interact in social contexts. We exist to provide hands-on, interactive, play based and developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for children.

“The first five years have so much to do with how the next 80 turn out,” said Bill Gates. Early educational opportunities are critical in shaping outcomes for our children. Intended for children under eight years old, Explore Children's Museum offers 15 permanent and rotating interactive exhibits that cover a wide range of interests and skill sets. Each exhibit helps children develop executive function, problem solving, collaboration, creativity, self confidence, independence, and self-regulation. These are critical for lifelong success and must be intentionally developed. These critical skills create the infrastructure for children to thrive in childhood and adulthood.
