Certified Peer Specialist

Keeping Families Together LLC is seeking two certified Peer Specialists to join our team. This is a community-based position providing direct peer support services to individuals in the community. Candidates must hold an active Wisconsin Peer Specialist certification.
 

A minimum of 1 year of related experience is required; 2 years of experience is preferred.
Core responsibilities include:
  • Using lived experience to promote hope, recovery, resilience, and self-determination.
  • Providing peer support consistent with Wisconsin peer specialist expectations and recovery-oriented practice.
  • Assisting clients with identifying strengths, goals, natural supports, and wellness strategies.
  • Encouraging service engagement, self-advocacy, and meaningful participation in recovery planning.
  • Supporting community integration, coping skills, and connection to resources while maintaining professional boundaries and accurate documentation.

Position details:

$21 per hour
Part-time: 25–30 hours per week
Flexible community schedule
Direct client support in home and community settings

 

Requirements:

Active Wisconsin Peer Specialist certification
Reliable transportation
Ability to meet clients in the community
Strong communication and documentation skills
