Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival 2022

Description

The 69th Annual Sweet Corn Festival will be held August 18-21, 2022 at Angell Park in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

The four-day fun filled festival is coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce with several non-profit organizations sharing in the proceeds.

Parade!
The festival kicks-off with a parade at 6pm on Wednesday evening.

Live Music!
The parade is followed by live music at Cannery Square from 7-9pm.

Food!
The key food highlight is serving of nearly 80 tons of uncooked and freshly-steamed corn. After husking the corn, the butter volunteers provide the savory butter and last but not least customers give the "salt tree" a shake. Additional, food vendors include traditional fair favorites (beer, brats, burgers, funnel cakes, popcorn, cotton candy, etc.) along with ethnic favorites. 

Steamed Corn is served Saturday and Sunday noon - 6pm only!

Fun! 
A carnival-midway complete with rides & games. The festival also features a large kiddie corner with inflatables, mini-golf, climbing wall and more! Saturday and Sunday you can also includes enjoy the craft fair, entertainment at the Family Stage and misc. informational booths.

The event also features live bands Friday and Saturday nights from 7-11pm in our beer "tent".

SuperTuesday takes their cues from artists like Bon Jovi, Brothers Osborne, Journey, Michael Jackson, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Billy Idol, Pat Benatar, Pitbull, Poison, Bruno Mars, Guns N Roses, and Luke Combs (just to name a few). Saturday join us for the Zac Mathews Band  - The Hottest Country Rock act in the Midwest.
Composed of three best friends who share a passion of delivering high energy performances, writing music, and meeting people from all different backgrounds.  ZMB has recorded two Nashville studio albums and are currently working on their third. The award-winning band the #1 Country Band in the State of Wisconsin in 2019 and 2021.
Zac Matthews won the Best New Male Act in Country Music award in Nashville TN when he was 18 years old and made it on the television show "American Idol" in 2019. The band has performed on Legendary stages such as The Ryman Auditorium (Nashville), The Apollo Theater, Country Thunder and so many more!!

WLMV, branded as "La Movida 94.5 & 1480", is a radio station serving the Madison, Wisconsin area. Owned by Mid-West Family Broadcasting, the station airs local Spanish language music and talk.

Three-year agreement with right of first refusal for 2025.  The annual fee would be payable January 1^st of each year. If any price increases happen during this sponsorship, you will be grandfathered into 2022 prices.  The Chamber reserves the right to amend Corn Fest proposals due Sun Prairie's branding study/implementation and the opportunity to monetize Sun Prairie & Corn Fest branding merchandise.
