SCORE: The AI Terms of Service Myths, Fine Print, That May Surprise You

Nearly every business is using AI tools that arrive with terms of service almost nobody reads. Those terms affect whether your data stays confidential, whether the content you generate is protectable, and who absorbs the cost when the AI gets it wrong. In this presentation, you will hear from an experienced business and contracts attorney who will walk through what the major platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft) actually commit to at each tier, including where paid consumer plans provide far less protection than users assume. The presentation will cover four common misconceptions, several provisions that often surprise experienced users, a side-by-side comparison of the consumer and business tiers, and four real-world situations where businesses often create avoidable exposure. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how to evaluate AI tools in practice and avoid common myths and pitfalls.
