SCORE: Maximizing Your NonProfit’s Statement Of Functional Expenses

We will be covering how to make sure your nonprofit is properly allocating costs between program and the overhead expenses of management and general and fundraising. The percentage of program costs to overhead expenses, indicates to donors how much of their money is going directly to the nonprofit's mission. The sweet spot is greater than 70% of funds going to programs. We will be looking at specific general ledger accounts and be giving tips on how to maximize your donor funds.
