SCORE: Get Found Online:A Small Business Guide to SEO, GEO, and AIO That Works
When customers look for products and services today, they search on Google, ask ChatGPT, or read an AI-generated summary before they ever click a link. This program explains how traditional search engine optimization (SEO), generative engine optimization (GEO), and AI optimization (AIO) work together, and why the fundamentals that have always driven good rankings still matter in an AI-driven search world. You'll learn practical, low-cost steps to make your website easy for both search engines and AI tools to read and trust, from clear content and strong local signals to structured data and customer reviews. Attendees will leave with a checklist they can put to work right away, whether they manage their own site or work with a web professional.
The Facilitator for this Workshop is Jim King. Jim is the owner of Wheaton Website Services, a web design, development, and hosting firm he founded in 2008 that serves small businesses throughout DuPage County, Il. and e-commerce clients nationwide. Jim has run e-commerce businesses since 1997 and has been doing SEO since 1998, giving him a firsthand view of how search has changed and what has stayed the same. He works directly with every client and brings a straightforward, no-jargon approach to helping business owners get found online.
