SCORE: Feeding the Machine: How to Create Content AI Wants to Read
When your customers ask ChatGPT or Gemini/Google "who's the best near me," the AI answers with names. The businesses it names are the ones whose websites are built for how AI actually reads, and most aren't.
In this hands-on workshop, we break down a five-ingredient recipe any small business owner can run on their own website this week, including real before-and-after examples, the true story of how Skol Marketing discovered how AI categorized their own business (and fixed it), and the HI + AI approach: AI for speed, human input where it matters most.
You'll walk away knowing how to:
Turn your website pages into direct answers AI engines quote
Build FAQ sections that show up in AI results
Get more customer reviews and put them to work
Check whether AI is recommending your business in 15 minutes a month
The Facilitator for this event is Ben Theis. Ben founded Skol Marketing to support local businesses after realizing the digital marketing industry's lack of options for small businesses and nonprofits during his time as a Local Partnership Manager at Google. With expertise in digital marketing and SEO, he set out to help small businesses navigate the complex digital landscape. In 2012, Ben left the corporate world to start Skol Marketing, focusing on educating and assisting small businesses to grow through SEO, SEM, social media, and website development.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys being a Minnesota Vikings fan, exploring dry-rub chicken wings, visiting breweries with his wife Emily, and spending time with his two pugs, Rigby & Mango, and his pet pig, Skolie.
