About Brendan - Locally Grown!

I have done many things in my career, from biochemistry to accounting and IT project management. In many ways, the jobs that provided me with the most satisfaction were in construction, because I could see the fruits of my labor at the end of every day. Nothing makes you feel better than to stand up at the end of a long day, covered in dirt and sweat and dust, looking over a completed project and knowing that you had a hand in building it.

In a similar way, that is what I love most about community banking. I get a chance to see and feel a connection to the "real world". I can provide guidance and funding to help a small business prosper. That successful business will help to serve as the foundation for the American economy. Perhaps more importantly, it might put food on the table for the families who live in my community, or it might create a family legacy when it is passed down from grandparents to grandchildren. As a community banker, I can help my friends and neighbors build small businesses that are locally grown.
