Adventures kickoff between 9am and 12pm | Community celebration 2pm - 3:30pm

Race Through the Prairie is a team challenge and community adventure fundraiser hosted by Sun Prairie School Community Organizations to support elementary kids, staff, and schools.

Teams begin their adventure between 9am and 12pm on Saturday, June 20, solving clues, completing physical and mental challenges, and working together to reach different checkpoints.

Some teams will travel to locations throughout Sun Prairie, while others can stay right at West High School, depending on the adventure they choose. A community celebration between 2pm and 3:30pm at West High School will wrap up the day.

Community Adventure
Travel to locations throughout Sun Prairie to complete bigger puzzles and hands-on challenges.
Estimated time: 3 hours

Family Adventure
Based at West High School and designed for mixed-age teams who want creative challenges without traveling across town.
Estimated time: 1.5 hours

All-Kid Adventure
Based at West High School and created just for youth teams, with age-appropriate challenges designed for kids to lead the way.
Estimated time: 1 hour

About Sun Prairie Area School Community Organization (SPASCO)
Kids spend at least 13 years in school, and the Sun Prairie Area School Community Organization (SPASCO) believes every one of them deserves to start their school career off with as much support as possible. SPASCO brings together the school-community organizations (Sun Prairie’s version of a PTO) of all nine Sun Prairie elementary schools, with the primary goal of supporting kids, teachers, and staff as they nurture the future of our community. SPASCO believes this community is stronger together than we are apart, which is why we’ve decided to pull together resources to ensure each one of our elementary schools have equitable community support.
