Mental Illness 101: Developing A General Understanding and Awareness

The month of May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month. The City will be teaming up with NAMI Dane County to offer community programming at the Sun prairie Public Library on the topic of mental health challenges. NAMI will be leading programming on learning the fundamentals of mental illness, what does it look like to support someone with a mental health issue, how is the Sun Prairie Police Department trained to respond to mental health calls, and more.
