Fire & Lights Parade!

Visit downtown Sun Prairie during the day for the Holiday season kick off with Shop Small Saturday and a visit with Santa (12:30-2pm at the SP Museum). Then stop by one of the local restaurants before enjoying the awesome parade of fire trucks and other local responders as they light up the night with a parade on East Main Street.

This event is a partnership between the Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department and the Historical Library & Museum.

As we wait for the fire trucks to arrive, enjoy entertainment and treats beginning at 5:45 PM. Fusion Dance Academy dancers will kick-off the parade with a street performance in front of the SPHL&M.

Area fire departments will bring their trucks to town decorated for the holiday season! The fire trucks will depart from Kroncke Drive at approximately 5:55PM. The trucks will travel east on Main Street and proceed until they are parked side-by-side in two lanes at the intersection of Main Street and Church / Market Streets.

Once all of the fire trucks are parked, watch as special guest Santa Claus uses holiday magic to light the Downtown holiday tree located in front of the Historical Library and Museum! After the tree is lit, get an up-close look at the fire trucks as they are parked on Main Street for your viewing pleasure.

5:55 – 6:00 p.m. Fusion Dance Academy performance - on the street, in front of the SPHL&M
6:00 – 6:30 p.m. Fire Truck Parade
6:30 – 6:40 p.m. Holiday Tree Lighting - in front of the SPHL&M
6:40 – 7:30 p.m. Santa Visits - on the steps of the SPHL&M
8:00 p.m. Latest Street Opening
