Building Automation System Programmer
Reports to: Automation Division Manager
Job Summary: We are a growing Building Automation System contractor. We are a Solution
Integrator of ABB Controls and American Auto-Matrix.
We are seeking an experienced Building Automation System Technician-Programmer. The
majority of systems will focus on HVAC systems but include Lighting Control, energy
management and data collection through both direct install and integration of third party
equipment. Sites include New Construction, retrofit installation and expansion to existing
controls systems
Qualifications:
- 5 plus years direct experience installing or programming Building Automation Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership skills
- Exceptional Computer skills including experience with MS office suite and networking
- Ability to work individually and in a Team environment as demand requires
- LAN, WAN System infrastructure setup
- Experience with AspectFT, American Auto-Matrix Systems and ABB Cylon Controls preferred including BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP
- Niagara-AX, N4, Tridium knowledge and understanding a plus
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints, Specifications and program to design Sequence of operations of both Design/Build projects as well as Plan/Spec projects
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems operations
- Programming, Commissioning and Start-Up
- System Design support
- Sales and Engineering Support
- Communicate discrepancy within mechanical equipment and/or design conditions
- Additional responsibilities may include Owner Training, Re-Commissioning,
- Preventative Maintenance testing, technical support and service support as division work load dictates
