Building Automation System Estimator-Sales
Reports to Automation Division Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong sales background of Building
Automation products or similar fields
Qualifications:
- 3 plus years’ experience with Building Automation Sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership skills
- Strong Computer skills including experience with MS office suite and network setup
- Ability to work individually and in a Team environment as demand requires
- IT Systems knowledge
- BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP, Niagra-AX, N4, Tridium knowledge and understanding
- Installation, Programming, Design of Building Automation Systems is a plus
- Energy Management or Energy Design including Focus on Energy incentives is a plus
- Provide outside sales growth to new construction, and retrofit solutions of both Design/Build projects as well as Plan/Spec projects
- Identify new sales potential for our growing division. Including Data Collection, Energy Conservation improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, building managers and owners
- Develop strong Preventative Maintenance Program for new and existing sites
- Assist with existing customer sales and provide support to team for added strength to BAS division
- Communicate with other divisions to determine project requirements
- Schedule and purchase project materials
- Schedule and attend pre-construction meetings with assigned foreman and designer
- Provide continued sales of projects including Change orders and RFI’s as needed

- Salary is based upon experience along with additional sales commission
- Physical Demands: Light lifting as needed for material handling. Work from step ladder as needed during job-site visit
