DESCRIPTION:Hunger doesn't take a summer vacation\, but donations to food pantries are slowest between June and August. Join the Sunshine Place emergency food pantry and local businesses in pushing back against hunger with our summer Food Fight competition. Sun Prairie businesses are partnering with Sunshine Place to collect non-perishable food and personal care donations at their locations to help keep the pantry stocked. Monetary donations are also accepted through the Summer Food Fight webpage\, and will be converted to lbs of food to credit your selected business. The business who collects the highest pounds of food per employee wins\, and we all win when everyone in our community can access food.
